while working out you get micro tears in your muscle , which your body repairs by adding a new layer of muscle , thus the muscle grows.
this takes place after a workout , while muscles are resting.
now if you have an intense workout one day and then the same thing the next day , your overtraining and your muscles will not grow .
the bigger the muscle the harder it should work and the more rest it needs ( eg: legs can take 5-6 days to heal completely after an Intense workout)</description>
